Hand carved wooden lions

These were a gift from a friend. They are hand carved and pretty weighty. Might be ebony but it’s hard to know for sure. The male lion is in perfect condition. The the back feet of the lioness have broken off. One foot is missing and the other can be reattached with wood glue. These are beautiful pieces and one of a kind.
