Hand Painted Lacquered Wooden Trinket Box

I purchased this trinket box about 20 years ago from Russian craftsmen. This is the only item I have of this type. It has been carefully stored and is in new unused condition. This is a round hand painted and lacquered wooden box with a strawberry, gold leaf and flower design. It has a gold painted interior. The lid is removable. It measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 4 3/4 inches high with the lid on.
