Beautiful Hand Painted Silk Wall Hanging just under five feet wide: big enough for a feature wall! Open to offers. Authentic Painting on Silk Cloth in the Rajasthani tradition depicting a royal procession of richly dressed people and animals. Included in the colorful scene are musicians, flag bearers, horses, and elephants. Exquisite detail! The vivid color palette of pink, purple, red, blue and gold leap out from the black background. Intricate floral border in gold. Measures 57 1/2” W by 18 3/4” H. Unframed. For wall display, the painting can be affixed to a wall, mounted on a rod, or framed under glass. The lightweight silk fabric has raw edges, which are fraying a bit (as shown in last photo). There is sufficient black border so that these can be trimmed. A few wrinkles. Otherwise, condition is excellent!
