Hand Made Sled and Painted Sled

This is an authentic handmade sled approximately 20" long from the top of the runner to the bottom of the runner and approximately 9 inches wide. The artist is Geraldine Slocum from Warren, PA who is no longer painting. It is one of a kind as she never painted the same theme twice. It is signed by the artist. It has a rope for hanging on the wall. This is a Christmas scene with a house, snow, and a beautiful sky. Included in this is a newspaper article from the Warren Times Observer dated December 23, 2002 which describes her life history and her painting style. There is also an article about her being the guest artist a Christmas Open House which also details her life as a painter. Also included in this is a photograph of the sled taken in front of my old fireplace for display purposes. I have also included a picture of the four sleds that were painted in this set. Unfortunately I only have this one and the others went to my siblings but I wanted the purchaser to be able to see the variations that the artist did. The above also proves documentation that it is a hand made sled and hand painted by the original artist.
