Hand Crocheted One Shoulder Backless Top

Handknit purple crocheted cropped top. One shoulder. Asymmetric neckline. Laced back is adjustable for fit. Purchased summer 2001 from a tiny shop in Greece. Worn once or twice that summer. I wore it out of the shop and loved it so much that when we passed by later that day and the artist/maker/knitter had replaced it with the same item in a bronze/tan I nearly bought that one too (more my color wheelhouse) but the maker refused (and rather rudely) to let me try that one on insisting it was exactly the same as the one I was wearing even though they are handmade, so I walked given how much money I had just spent at her store. Regretted not getting the tan one for years after. I believe she was selling bikini tops made out of the same material, but I did not wear this in the water so can't attest to its swim worthiness myself.
