Hand Crafted Linen Coverlet and Pillow Case Set, Vintage

Hand Made Pieced Coverlet and Pillow Case Set. This is called “Reverse Appliqué”, a method using two pieces of thin linen whereby (in this case) the tan colored linen was placed beneath a white linen piece (with fern/leaf cuts) and appliquéd/hand sewn to it. This would actually be beautiful quilted if anyone is so inclined. Matching Pillow Case (One) seems to be Standard Sizing at approx. 19.5” x 29.5”. Excellent Used Condition. The tan parts are Unbleached Linen so there are some specks in it from the flax fiber.
