A handmade African sandalwood bowl with handles in a rough-hewn style. A wide band of contrasting sapwood lends a well-chosen symmetry to the overt rusticity of the traditional design. The handles are notched to accommodate the inset bone accents, through a tradition batik-style dyeing process. Place of Origin Kenya. Date of Manufacture 1970-1979.
