No scents (nonsmoking) and no magnetic closures - the small pocket you see is the only exterior pocket, it’s narrow and deep (great to drop jewelry/cash/cards into in a rush!) - the other pockets lined w buttons are decorative flaps. The majority of storage is just the zippered interior! I love that it lays very flat while wearing it :)
