Hallmark Ornament A Christmas Eve Story 1998 Keepsake Ornament. Inspired by the watercolor drawings of Becky Kelly, known for her timeless designs reminiscent of 1900's children's storybooks. The ornament features a little girl reading "The Night Before Christmas" to her teddy bear by a window, with Santa and his sleigh visible outside. In order to illuminate Santa, there's a clip on the back of the ornament that can be attached directly to a lamp socket on a miniature light string. It does NOT require a separate connector cord. The box states "instructions enclosed"; however, these instructions are missing. Dated 1998 on the bottom of the ornament. Comes with box which shows some minimal wear on the top cover's edges. There are no tears on the box. Ornament height: 4"; length of base: 2.5". Excellent, clean condition
