Is it hard to use? I would be giving to a teen who can not hold a curling iron correctly to curl hair.

@ggoodspeed1222 It only took a few minutes for me to figure it out. I did watch a few YouTube videos to make sure I understood it. There are different settings on it. The longest setting (in seconds) will give the most curl. The least setting gives less curl. It isn’t too confusing honestly. But it does give lasting curls (or waves). The curls hold better also if you use some product in your hair. Hope that helps you some. 😊
