HTF! Kimberly Hodgen Cupcakes and Cartwheels Bowl & Plate Floral Scalloped READ

Dimensions Bowl: 3.5" tall x 6" across Plate: 9" diameter Colors: sky blue, butter yellow, red, pink, lilac, green Be still my maximalist heart! If these were my colors, I'd be keeping these pieces. I love them! This bowl and plate are so happy, exactly what some of us need after the short, gray days of winter. Though not identical in pattern, they're complementary with a maximalist pattern. They feature bright and cheery flowers, some scrolls and a plaid pattern. They're entirely charming! The bowl is deep enough to act as a small planter and I would either keep the plate below it to complete the look or I would use the plate as a catchall for my sunglasses and other small items. But these can be used for their intended purpose: as actual dishes! READ: In one of the photos, it looks as though there is a small chip on the rim of the bowl but there is NOT. It is just a lighter spot on the rim. There is some crazing on both of these pieces but it's difficult to see unless held up to bright light. Some artists purposefully incorporate crazing to give a vintage vibe but I don't think that's the case with these. "Crazing" simply means that the protective glaze has begun to crack (just as the screen protector on your phone may do). The ceramic or pottery beneath the glaze is unaffected. Crazing can happen with significant age but also from putting some pieces in the dishwasher or the microwave. Crosslisted.
