Soft apricot cotton blend knit fabric. It has a nice stretch to.it.. sewn in sequins make up the square? Lol Shape that you see on the front of the dress. It comes with a braided silk chord /tassel belt that you can style the dress with or go without. This is definitely 1920's inspired cut. Very very cool on. Easy to wear. Zero flaws. Like new.

askwhatuwant This dress is an awesome dress for dancing. It breaths so well. Is cut similar to the great gatsby type style and the fabric is a soft cotton stretchy blend. Moves,and breayhs suuuuper well. This one here is brand new and zero flaws...

I cannot believe the bargains on ballroom gear I have found here. I only need 2 or 3 images. I used to work in high fashion. Lol. Believe me I am a blood hound with this type of thing. Hahaha....

winniebv 1. My store right now is a wall inside of my Dance Studio. It's not even fully up and running. I'm accumulating inventory so I have something to sell. 2. My current market is very conservative. They don't want a lot of bling and they want sleeves. I don't plan on that being long-term but that will be my income for right now.

winniebv I have a couple of $2,000 dresses in my inventory but they will not be the first ones to go LOL. Surprisingly even items that are easy to find online are still wanted in the store like simple practice wear and accessories.

winniebv I am also a bloodhound and loving that people are already asking me to find certain items they want. I scour online, at consignment shops, and Goodwill right now. The only difficulty is finding the right balance of quality versus price.

winniebv I'm about to place an order with Very Fine for shoe inventory but they are pretty conservative. I would love if you could provide me with some fun unique shoes. But again quality is fairly important. They have to be brand new, hopefully with tags and box. And they cannot be cheap knock-offs from overseas. Those have no support and fall apart right away. Perfect scenarios are online woman who bought one pair of hi quality shoes but never use them and wants to get rid of them for $20.

askwhatuwant @barbievasile They compliment almost any outfit you might wear to dance ballroom in. Bolero dance jackets ( in Navy , black, and chocolate brown of course) might be an interesting thing to try on them too. Get the items on your wall that they forgot to bring from home like dance shoe metal brushes for the bottoms of their shoes ( for purchase only) etc. just get them into your merchandise area... oh and while they are getting that brush ... hit them with eye candy.... :-) .

winniebv Right now I'm really struggling to find jewelry at reasonable prices. People want beautiful Swaorski crystals but don't want to pay that price. I don't mind other cheaper options as long as they are shiny and not going to turn green. I would imagine in San Francisco you could find some decent pieces in the 10 to $20 range I could resell for 40-50.

askwhatuwant @barbievasile Always have like "gateway purchase items" like $8 cute dance bags or those mini fans that cool them off after they finish a lively salsa... and then at the register... have the next level of gateway purchase items... $10 agate rock studs in every color.... ( can get those for $2 each easily) . everyone loves them... and then keep adding to their goody bag. lol.

There is no comparison. The highest quality or nothing at all. I can feel the difference the moment I try a bad shoe on.... So no. I would not do that to you or anyone else. haha...

I have an amazing store here on Haight that has earrings perfect for ballroom that range from $8.00 - $20 that are designed by the store owners personally so they are all one of a kind styles that are ... well.... I think I will take pics for you so you can decide for yourself.

askwhatuwant @barbievasile But she was a relentless bargain shopper. She would hit the LA garment district and shop from 7am - 8 or 9 pm non-stop driving everyone crazy! My mom went with her one time and said her legs felt like they were falling off keeping up with her. lol. But it is more than possible if you have the eye and can find the best deals.

I can find ballroom dance shoes - high quality ones... boxes are rare. But I have seen plenty of perfectly new ballroom shoes around town going for way less than they should.
