HP Internal Print Servers deliver high performance network sharing of printers and multifunction devices over a range of network types, with advanced security features and easy management via HP Web Jetadmin. These older JetDirect cards have a web interface which will not run on newer versions of Java, which makes ENTERPRISE management slightly less convenient. However, the EIO Card is still fully functionable and maintains manageability through a number of other avenues, such as WebJet Admin, telnet, direct access via the printer's control panel, etc. The testing setup ( pictured ) consisisted of an HP 2300 LaserJet Printer and an old HP Laptop running Windows XP ( which may be the last Windows operating system capable of accessing the built-in web interface properly ).
