fabloot @sparrowsage , I think that major alterations would not be a good idea. It's a tailored garment and the pockets might wind up on the hip! A small amount at the back of the waist maybe. There is a side zip to consider too! Sorry😢

ivoryscallop @fabloot thank you! I’m glad I asked. When a Woman’s Boden garment has only one size tag the size listed is UK size. So this is a UK 18L, and a US 14L.
