An uncommon antique, heavy, ceramic pitcher by H.H. Voorhees was assessed at being from the mid-late 1800s, and is believed to have once been part of a "washing set." (Predecessor to the bathroom sink.) Features gracefully curved shape, handle w/decorative molding at top and a wildflower pattern on two sides. (Some fading in the lower end of both flowers.) It also has a tiny crack near its handle & at the base. Crackling and darkening of finish, interior stains. **Pls see notes for more details.

Approx. 7.25" tall at spout/4" wide opening/6" across at widest pary of pitcher/3" X 3.5" at base. For its long life and impressive age, it's come through still looking beautiful, and giving us a window to our past.
