HERMÈS Rare “Mors Et Filets” 1966 Vintage Silk Scarf 90cm Carré This is a beautiful rare vintage Hermès ‘Mors et Filets’ étriers-horsebit scarf. This scarf was designed by Francoise Heron in 1966. Beautiful peacock blue background, off-white, gold and brown, amazingly rich colour combination. Depicting equestrian, étriers, horsebit design, this is a collector’s scarf. Note there is no copyright on this scarf because it had not yet been introduced in 1966. Very rare, "Mors et Filets" Hermes carré was designed by Marie Francois Heron in 1966. This is the first edition of this design (which was reissued in the 1980s with the copyright symbol.) Brilliant colours, plump hand-rolled hems as shown in photos, with only minor signs of its age including a few small stains, as shown (which could perhaps be removed by a skilled dry cleaner). It is in remarkable shape for a 56 yr old scarf. Box available upon request.
