This is a gorgeous authentic HERMÈS Brins d’Or 100% Silk Carre scarf was designed by Hugo Grygkar in 1953. Hugo Grygkar not only designed the very first carré for Hermès, but he also became Hermès' most prolific artist. This scarf design depicts a galley of the French galley corps, and the flagship of the French galley fleet under the king Louis XIV. This scarf depicts "La Reale," Louis XIV's decorated warship, used by his prestigious admiral of the fleet.
The colorway is two shades of blue, gold, and white. The scarf is titled and includes Hermès logo, copyright and the artist’s signature; and the edges are hand rolled. No box or care tag.
