This is a gorgeous authentic HERMÈS Brins d’Or 100% Silk Carre scarf was designed by Laurence Toutsy Bourthoumieux Thioune in 1994 The literal translation for “Sables” in French is sand, and this design pictures the ornamented jewels of the people of the sand cultures, or the desert inhabitants of the Sahara, such as the Berber and Tuareg tribes. The colorway is shades of several shades of blue, gold, orange, green, and white. The scarf is titled and includes Hermès logo, copyright and the artist’s signature; and the edges are hand rolled. No box or care tag. Made in France 100% silk, hand rolled edges Square shape, approx. 90cm (or approx. 36") Multi-color print in several shades of blue, gold, orange, green, and white. Condition: very good, pre-owned. There are two small spots in the corner with the care tag and one very faint area that appears slightly darker (see last close up pic). Easily folded in to not show. The hand rolled edges are plump and full.
