lakekay @deirdrewhite17 I just wanted to reach out since I actually b a few months ago decided to try to figure out how to start fundraising money for those in ukraine who are personally in need of money for whatever it may be(food/food for family/medicine/injury care/pet food/saving up money in order to pay to get somewhere they need to go for safety/get to family/etc./any other necessities).

lakekay @deirdrewhite17 I started this because of one ukrainian Etsy seller who I talked to and eventually became friends with and now currently the money I fundraise I send to over 10 Ukrainian individuals. I still feel most times like I’ve no clue what I’m doing but I have raised in total over $400

lakekay @deirdrewhite17 which I’m the grand scheme of things I know isn’t much at all but it is much more than I even thought I would I assumed that my attempt would result in complete failure so I am happy that as time passes I seem to be able to learn more ways to effectively fundraise larger amounts. I find it difficult to meet/encounter many people who are in some way involved with attempting to personally try to help with Ukraine

lakekay @deirdrewhite17 so when I saw that you are I wanted to say hi and that I respect and appreciate so much what you are doing! One of my main tactics is getting peoples attention with free items(we all know people love a free item haha) one of my main avenues of this being stickers! I actually had an extremely nice man on Etsy send me 30 of his vinyl bumper stickers entirely free when I messaged to ask about bulk cost since I was fundraising.

lakekay @deirdrewhite17 And worked with another Etsy seller to have specific stickers made that represent the cause of raising money for the pets jn ukraine as one of the girls I talk to feeds the stray cats. I’ll send you a photo of the bumper stickers and the others because I am more than happy to send you a bumper sticker and one of the others for free if you say you would like me to! Just as a way to show my appreciation of your efforts! Don’t feel obligated to say yes, no worries at all!
