Hello there, fellow Poshers. ☺️ ---> okay, so... Does anyone know how to create a new account on Merc. if they "banned" you? ( for an absolutely BOGUS reason, if I say so myself! ) Basically, I got "banned" for selling what they call "USED" cosmetics. Okay, whatever.. Everyone sells "USED" stuff on there, but apparently it's "against their policy." If they ban the other million people on there selling "USED" stuff, they wouldn't have a site anymore. So... Help anyone? 💗

meganamundson Hey sorry I forgot to post my response I typed it out and never hit post ugh!! Lol I'll try and remember what I exactly said. Pretty much, merc can either go ham on blocking you or kind of be froofy with it so you never know if they blocked your whole ip this time or if they just blocked your account. If it's just the account, a simple redownload of the app after Uninstalling it would work

meganamundson But if you make a new email and get someone to tell you the code they text to your phone and you STILL can't log in, they must be really cracking down because your IP is blocked. It won't even tell you either I had to dig. Sucks because merc has a great platform and concept but they're a little behind on customer appreciation which is going to hurt them in the long run

garrison_kelz See, the reason I like Merc. Is because it's so easy to operate and you can find better prices on there, most of the time. Plus, they have more beauty products than any other re-sale apps I've tried! I just don't understand why they'd ban me for something I've been doing, and they never said anything before. So, once my account is officially terminated, will I need to try and set up a new account on a different device with a new email? But if they block your IP, they can still tell its you?!?

lrwalker72 Girl we all have this problem. I just got banned on both my accounts. It's so ridiculous. They totally blocked me from using it on my phone even while I'm not connected to wifi. I still have open transactions also and they wouldn't even let me login! I had to login on the iPad. Try doing it on a different device. I'm stuck now because I made a new account on the iPad yesterday and put the wrong email and I can't remember what I put.

lrwalker72 So I'm stuck too! ng" when I traded once and selling one used spray. I emailed several times also and no response. They're really shitty people lol @garrison_kelz yeah I found more beauty rush on there and stuff for much better prices. I've also had more luck selling. It's just so much cheaper and cheaper shipping. It's so unfair to everyone. I know Megan as well as myself and two others that have had problems with them for the sprays.

lrwalker72 If you were using it on the iPad with wifi try disconnecting it from wifi and making an account or if you weren't try doing it on wifi @garrison_kelz

garrison_kelz Can you log out of the site from the app? I can't figure out how to?!? Do I need to change my email address or any personal information when creating a new account? ( if I'm able to create a new one! ) it's so unfair.

danimarie226 Merc sent me a warning because I had a prohibited good (beauty rush spray) Meanwhile almost every one sells used body sprays. I ended up taking all my lotions and perfumes down to be safe. I'm terrified they'll delete my account.

garrison_kelz I didn't ever try to make a new account after they banned me for selling the "used" cosmetics because it's really difficult to make a new account! They basically block your IP on your phone, and it's super hard to work around it! You've gotta be way more tech-savvy than me, that's for sure. Lol! The sad thing is, I thoroughly enjoyed my time of the site, but I learned that the ones who run it basically don't care about you at all and kick you off for completely BOGUS reasons!
