did I receive a fake Lululemon oversized scuba half zip? Doesn’t look authentic to me. Stitching looks weird and the rip tag is sewn under the material and is also wider than normal. Lots of languages on it too! There’s no space between the percentage and polyester on the tag. The zipper pull looks like it’s “painted” and not the typical metal zipper pull.

Curious to see what the Lulu experts say. The zipper looks cheap, but the tag says made in phillipines. But it doesn’t match the quality of other scubas but I wouldn’t have noticed if it weren’t for the zipper.

It does look off but I’m not sure what the Asian version tags look like on the back of them, maybe someone with knowledge of the Asian version can chime in on the back of the tags. I have only seen the M/L and the numbers on the tags once, not doubled in the M/G which would be the Spanish version of the sizes. But have never seen a real tag look like this one on the reverse. The zipper looks off and the actual zipper (grey part) looks plastic not metal.

I just ordered one with the same tag and was wondering the same thing. Will you please let me know if you find out if it’s authentic or not 🙂

@cheyanne_birt seems like their are actual tags like that! Is yours a scuba too? Wondering if your zipper is metal or not seems like that’s what people are questioning about this one but nothing else.

As a lulu collector, I’m confident that this is real and it’s an overseas release. Specifically Australia/New Zealand and the UK have release pieces with this brownish size dot. It DOES pull up to correct item and style when searched. The stitching all looks authentic to me. I don’t see anything sketchy with the zipper either. My personal opinion is this was a real, non-US release. Release date on the size dot says April of 2021.

@kdawgg15 the zipper isn’t silver but coated, I can’t seem to find any others like that being sold online nor do the ones that pull up on lulufanatics show a coated zipper that’s the same color as the jacket. Is that a common thing overseas then? I’ve never seen one like that.
