HELLO, I’M DOTTY VEE…

… I love clothes, especially quirky prints, midi-length dresses, flowy skirts, menswear-inspired pants, almost certainly too much black, and anything with pockets. Everything in my Poshmark closet is from my own closet - mostly NWT, and brand new, a few pieces without tags but only worn once or twice. No regrets! When I bought each piece, in my mind it was destined to make its appearance at some particular event or place - creative presentations, fun gatherings, graduations, faraway vacations - and those styling daydreams brought me a lot of joy, especially during lockdown. But while my purchases have been waiting patiently for their big moments, the dreams that inspired them have changed. (And so has my body shape, lol.) Now it’s time to set them free. I’m obsessed by Marie Kondo’s idea that we should send the clothes we don’t wear out into the world to find new owners for themselves - to twirl and dance and attend all the parties, travel to Paris, live the lives we dreamed for them. So I’m bringing my unworn pieces out of the closet and into the Poshmark sunshine. I hope they find you, I hope they work for you and, most of all, I hope you have a lot of fun together!
