HALCYON DAYS ENGLISH ENAMEL BOX - AIDA ELEPHANTS - GUISEPPE VERDI OPERA

Halcyon Days Enamels box, initialed "SF" on top, is part of the, "Animals of the Opera" collection made for the New York Metropolitan Opera. The top has two elephants, with fancy red and yellow headpieces and blankets, from Guiseppe Verdi's "Aida." They are in the desert, with Egyptian pyramids in the background. Swagged, 'velvet' theater curtains, with tassels, border the side. "Aida Elephants" is written inside. It has a diameter of 1.5" with a height of 1.1". "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival", "Animals of the Opera" and "The Metropolitan Opera - Made in Bilston England" are on the bottom.
