The most defining characteristic of this fabric is its blue warp (top surface) and black weft. Instead of the typical white weft brightness, you get a subtle black shadow around an inky blue warp. The overall look is extra saturated and the pant takes on a slightly more formal look than a classic white weft denim. This fabric has a soft hand right from the start and a lighter weight so it's comfortable on day one and wearable year round. A prominent white selvedge ID finishes it off. This is one of the more unusual all-American denims out there and remains an all time favorite.
