Here is a beautiful porcelain centerpiece or footed base serving bowl made for Gumps of San Francisco. It is hand painted in the Japanese manner with an Oriental motif of flowers. Gold gilding rim in very good condition. It is marked Gumps on the base. Made in Japan. Use as a purely decorative item, or as a large fruit bowl. Size: 10" diameter x 4-3/4" high. Base 4-5/8" diameter.
