Real metal buttons. Belt has metal hardware too. Originally came with plastic buttons that were replaced by a NY tailor with real metal buttons. Those 17 buttons cost $120 when purchased in the NY garment district. Paid Another $75 to get them professionally sewn. I couldn’t understand why Guess cheapened this coat with plastic buttons so I replaced them. Double breasted pea coat with stylish layered hem in the front and back. Super warm.
