What is the story here?!?! Someone turned an iconic Gucci scarf from the 1960s/ 1970s into a TIE! I can't find another one like it... The silk scarf designed by iconic Vittorio Accornero, textile artist. Covered with mushrooms, plant life, and various insects. Bordered with navy blue, the cream background is covered in bright orange and goldenrod yellow flora and fauna. I've tried to capture the depth of color (the orange POPS) and super cool factor of this tie. It captures the art and colors of the psychedelic era. The best part is that a design usually only found in the vintage scarves is available as a necktie. Vintage item, very well made. A slight wrinkle at neck (when it was tied), and there may be a few tiny spots or blemishes. No scents or visible flaws. (Note-- due to the value of this item, I have not had it cleaned or pressed. You may opt to do this.) Made in the 1970s, most likely. Lined with Gucci fabric and has a care tag. Still, I suspect that it was a commissioned item, not something direct from Gucci.
