Gucci Black Bamboo Top Handle 1947 Style Bag

Excellent to new large black bamboo top handle rare 1947 bag. One of the most iconic bags ever made. Post-war 1947, when traditional materials difficult to source, the House of Gucci decided to use a lightweight yet durable bamboo for the handle and lock creating a bag that has been known to be carried by such celebrities as Elizabeth Taylor, Lady Di, Grace Kelly and others. Includes, mirror in pouch with lactic still on it, dustbag and other material. Small denting on back from hardware. All items in this closet are authentic. They are all from my personal collection in a smoke free house. Shoes and bags are kept in their original boxes and bags when applicable. See photos for approximate measurements.
