Green and gold metallic floral jeweled hair barrette

I bought this when I had long hair for ten minutes. This is a really nice barrette. It's honestly heavy, made out of metals and enamels, no plastics, with thick engraving and lustrous color. Its so pretty I just had it on display when i inevitably went pixie again. I think you need thick hair to wear this. It is big, and strong. I do not have thick hair. It actually slid off my ponytail, but I have that superfine slippery hair. It's really gorgeous. I got it secondhand so I can't testify to it's exact material makeup but I'm a real snob about metals and it really does feel weighty and well made. I think it would be a gorgeous addition to a thick updo or low pony. I mean that's why I got it haha but yeah I'm always gonna have short hair.
