Gorgeous and Unique Pink Tweed Blazer by Terry Paris! (Size 4)

This is a beautiful, and unique tweed blazer by Terry Paris. Presumably made in France during the 1980s or 1990s, the tag on the back of the collar (see photo) indicates that this sweet little confection is a "Prototype", which is the final custom-made sample used by clothing manufacturers as a model for copies that will be made and sold. I have yet to find anything like this online, so my guess is that the company ultimately opted not to reproduce this blazer for the retail market. Hence, this blazer is truly one-of-a-kind. The body of the blazer is lozenge tweed done in multiple shades of pink. The collar, cuffs, and faux flap pockets are made with polychrome striped fabric (feels like cotton) and lined in pink. Everything is trimmed with pink baby pom pom trim. There are no tags that indicate the fiber content of any of the fabric used for this blazer. The blazer is fastened with two buttons and double vented in the back. The quality and attention to detail on this blazer is amazing. It is in excellent shape. The inner tag says that it is an American size 4, but I have provided measurements just to be safe (they are in inches): Shoulder (seam to seam) - 15.5, Chest (buttoned) 17.5, Length 23.5, Arm Length (from shoulder seam) 22
