Gorgeous VTG RARE Clayden 3-piece silk S-L

Truly the most gorgeous outfit I have in my closet. This all silk with velvet outfit is amazing. The long pencil skirt will come to your ankles and is crinkled and double tiered. The under garment and overgarment are both very fine silk with velvety three-dimensional floral designs on them. The clasp looks art nouveau and is sensational. In some light this outfit looks tan and others it has a light gray tone. The way the outfit flows is elegant, dramatic and beautiful. Clayden was an artist who initially dyed her own silks. She sold to Bergdoff Goodman of NY and then continued to sell to high-end retailers in the USA, England and Japan. Her work is in the collections of major museums such as the MET in NY, De Young in San Fran and Victoria & Albert in London. this outfit is marked S but as you can tell from the measurements is much larger and could fit M and maybe even L. A masterpiece of an outfit! In nice vintage condition.
