Portia and Scarlett evening down PS23706C. This dress is seriously gorgeous in person the pictures don’t do it justice. Please read carefully: When I originally ordered this dress from New York Dress I ordered it in a size 4 and the slit was extremely high. To the point where my underwear was showing. I have no idea how anyone could comfortably wear this dress with the slit it had. It was all the way up to the hip. I couldn’t alter the dress to close the slit because there wasn’t enough material to pull so I ended up reordering the dress in a size 8 to have enough material to close the slit. My seamstress closed the slit a little bit (as you can see in the photos) so it wasn’t as high but still left enough where it looks sexy. She also took the waist in to fit like the size 4. I also hemmed the length because it was too long. She hemmed it to my height 5’5 and another 4 inches for my heels. She gave me the extra material if you need to add it back. The slit can also be cut open again like the photo.
