Along with the full length, could you also provide the measurement of the bottom flounce, from that horizontal seam to the bottom of the lace trim? I'm looking to alter a short burgundy velvet dress I have to make it long, and I think I could de-construct this to use the bottom portion as added length... also, is this a nice deep maroon or brighter? Please let me know ASAP! I'm running out of time to get my dress in gear for my daughter's wedding!
