Gorgeous 4.2 Carat Hessonite Garnet

Hessonite Garnet, sometimes known as the "Cinnamon Stone", is known for its deep orange/amber color and rich ruby-like warmth. The richness of its color and the depth of whether it tends more towards sunset or common comes from the presence of iron when the garnet deposit is formed, and this distinct color differentiates hessonite from the rest of the garnet family and other color-gemstones. The colors of hessonite can range anywhere from light yellowish orange, to a deep orange-red, and it graded on an A to AAAA basis, with AAAA being the highest grade selling for around $550/carat. This absolutely gorgeous cushion cut stone is 4.3 carats, measures 9.350 x 9.250 x 6.050mm, has not been treated, is VVS Clarity and AAAA graded.
