Golden Goose Superstar - iconic edition - highly collectible - great condition

Golden Goose Superstars ‘tape’ edition. This now infamous edition of Golden Goose’s Superstar line is the one that really broke them to the rest of the world - it made huge news that folk were paying big bucks for sneakers pretending to be held together with old tape! As such this now hard-to-find version is highly collectible. It’s part of sneaker history. The “AFG” stamping of the insole btw apparently denotes that these are based on the original designs of Golden Goose founders Alessandro & Francesca Gallo… which not ALL Golden Goose sneakers are, especially these days. The GGDB style is of course deliberately distressed, but deliberate distressing aside (like the tape, the scuffing of the tan suede & the knotted lace) these are in excellent shape, having only been lightly worn.
