Wonderful burnished gold sequined evening gown by John Paul Ataker, worn once and dry cleaned. EUC!! Sequins are sewn onto the dress to create an luxe flowing velvety appearance, & the look is quite unlike your typical basic sequin dress. It has a substantial weight to it and is nicely stretchy at hips.The under-bodice is structured with boning. It comes with a tulle wrap & cloth garment bag. NOTE: This gown runs small. The tag size is 44 (or 14) which was too large for me & was taken in to fit

jmcmetals @debbyme01 The present condition is as pictured on dress form. I wore it once; had it cleaned and, aside from taking it out to photograph on dress form, it has been kept in it's cloth garment bag. I can take more photos of it later tonight and send to you.

jmcmetals Dress measurements lying flat: area above bust (top of band) 16" is larger at bust (I was a 34/36 D when I wore it, ) waist 15", hips 17" . Fabric can stretch quite a bit, so there's room for give, except at top band of dress (which has just a little give). Top to hem in front is 56". I'm 5'8" and wore 3 inch heels.

salesiav @jmcmetals. The hip area must have been taken in ro be 34" total. Please show, if possible, the remaining fabric from the alteration or was the fabric cut where altered

jmcmetals @salesiav Yes, the seamstress altered it in the waist and hip and bust in order to make it fit. She trimmed the seam, so it has about an inch total material. The material has stretch with the exception of the band above the bustline. What size are your hips?

jmcmetals @salesiav not at all. The mannequin which the dress is displayed on has a hip measurement of 40. I'm larger now than when I wore it, but I believe my hips were 39-40" at that time. I tired it on today to check fit. It still fits nicely over my hips, but it no longer fits my chest area which is 41" at the fullest part of my bust.
