llv777 Hi Hildy, I hope that you are doing well, I haven't been able to converse with you on poshmark, I don't know why? I have some bad news, Charlie is gone. he had a heart condition that I was not aware of. He was at the vet in November and all was fine.

llv777 He had labored breathing, I took him to the cat hospital, they couldn't promise that the treatment would work. I asked the vet, what she would do, she said that she would let him go. so he was euthanized. the assistant told me that I made the right decision, his lungs were full of fluid. it was a race of time between the meds and his body to expel the fluids. my heart is broken

llv777 there are three types of heart disease in cats, his walls were thickened and couldn't pump blood to his extremities. his temp was 71 and should have been over 100. one of the hardest things that I had to do, but I didn't want him to suffer

_hildyl @llv777 Oh My God...I am soooo sorry. I just saw this. This is terrible news. You DID do the right thing for him...I wish we could not suffer either. You gave him a good life, though it was a short one. Even more the reason you did right by him to give him his best life! I'm sure you are hurting emotionally today. When did this happen? llv777 This happened May 17th. He had labored breathing, I thought that maybe he was in pain, because they will do that when they hurt. I left work early to take him to the vet, he was still breathing heavy. They said that his heart had thickened walls and wasn't pumping the blood out of the lower chambers, so his lungs were full of fluid. his temp was only 71 and should have been over 100

llv777 He was about 2 when someone dropped him off at a senior apt. complex, I had him 1 1/2 years, so he was about 4 years old. they say this can happen to kittens too. it happened fast, no symptoms leading up to the labored breathing. I was shocked when she said it was his heart. I really thought that I would be taking him home
