Pictures show color difference depending on lighting. I have kept this locket since I was a little girl. My grandma gave it to me in the 70s. It wasn’t new then. It has been in many jewelry boxes and never in any type of protective sleeve. This piece really holds up to the wear and tear of time - carried from place to place through my childhood, teenage years and adulthood - 50 years. I have only worn it a few times. I think it’s time to let someone who will use it, enjoy it. The value of this piece is subjective and I have priced it accordingly. The fine scratches on the back add beauty to the jewelry and reflect the journey the piece has taken.
