bluemandala @franchuli Hi👋 They are made from a 20 gauge wire, so they do have a little flexibility. But as they are being made, they are “work hardened” as they are hammered into their shape and texturized. As for the thickness, it is thin enough to pass through the hole in the earlobe, but it is a thicker gauge wire than the standard “french wire” ear hook that is commonly used. It is the next thickness up, and still is able to thread through most peoples ear lobe. It would cost $12.00 more make them. bluemandala @lipstickvenus Hi , gold filled jewelry wire typically ranges from 20-45 microns and will be 1/20th the total weight of the wire. A gold-plated piece is usually .5 - 2.5 microns by comparison.
