lmlewis2000 @glisko Hi! Glycolic acid peels are known as a “chemical” exfoliant. The acid penetrates deep into the skin to dissolve oil and dead skin (unblock pores). It is known to stimulate collagen production, which in turn leads to more youthful looking skin with a diminished appearance of hyperpigmentation (scars, sun spots, age spots, etc) and fine lines (wrinkles). The higher the solution, the stronger it is. Hope that helps!

lmlewis2000 @glisko Hello :) the glycolic peel can be left on your skin between 1 and 4 minutes and you can put on makeup afterwards. There are more intense chemical peels that actually make your skin “peel” and take days to recover but glycolic will not do that! I would recommend using the 10% solution once or twice a week and then slowly adding more of the 40% solution. When using 40% only do it once every other week or so.

lmlewis2000 @glisko The neutralizer helps to stop the acid from working so you would use that at the end of your 1-4 minute treatment . And don’t worry- there are instructions in the box :)

lmlewis2000 @glisko Yes I did use them! No negative experience - I just wasn’t able to keep myself on a schedule to continue using it. Thankfully I found a new skincare that works for me😊
