Gianni Versace vintage alpaca hooded swing coat, M

Pry this luxurious heavy hoodie away from me because you love the color, the label, the comfort and warmth, the turquoise stones in the toggles. But not if you expect the surface of the 70% wool, 30% alpaca to be like new or perfect because it isn’t. Early Versace circa 1980 (see history below), made in Italy. Color is intense aqua in the turquoise range, lining is darker I’d call it emerald. Generous size that because of the type of loose structure could fit most. No size tag. Pit to pit flat across back 30”, back length about 35”, sleeve seam is dropped so it is hard to measure (I have broad shoulders and long arms and on me the sleeves come about 4” short of my wrists). Big glamorous hood. Very thick wool/alpaca, quilted lining, weighs almost 4 lbs. Found 3 online at resale venues, much more $$$. Condition notes: I purchased this pre-owned in the mid 90s at a then-famous luxury-label consignment boutique in Knightsbridge (London). It was already pre-loved, and cleaners had already done whatever to the surface texture and color (it is even in color except that small bug chews expose darker deeper fibers). I have tried to demonstrate in the photos the impact of the small chews on appearance. The back waist band is is slightly discolored/lightened as shown. One of the turquoise stones in the toggles was missing, and I replaced it with a genuine turquoise stone. The quilting of the lining is an intricate pattern; a small amount of the stitching is lost.
