julia_robertson @jojohnson1845 I don't believe they're specifically sized for wide calves but I have average sized calves and they fit loose on that part of my leg. No back of the knee slit, the only opening is the zipper pictured.

jojohnson1845 @julia_robertson thank you. Could you offer a measurement? Lay flat and at the widest point of the calf is it 7”, or 8” or 8-1/2”on one side

julia_robertson @jojohnson1845 at the calf, they're 6.5” across. At the top, where it would hit your thigh they're just over 8”

jojohnson1845 @julia_robertson is the boot lying flat…I like these but I have large calf’s. Do they go just above the knee or up mid-thigh?

julia_robertson @jojohnson1845 they're not sized for wide calves. The fabric does have some give because it's suede, but they are the above measurements lying flat, yes. They do not go to mid thigh, maybe 4 or so inches above the knee when fully pulled up.
