Georges Briard Devonshire England porcelain in Celadon green.
4 lunch/dessert plates = 7 5/8” x 3/4”
Georges Briard Devonshire England porcelain plates and mugs.
Against the white is the color celadon, a soft green. The floral oval inset features red-orange strawflowers with variegated white and pink petals next to paradise apples ripening on branches. Just lovely hand-painting, and it appears on dishes.

History:
George Briard born Russia, raised in Poland, and served in US Army as a Russian interpreter. Briard earned his art degree from Chicago. Known as fine designer, sold to upscale Neiman Marcus.
