When asked to create the 2020 Georg Jensen Christmas Collectibles, Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg looked to the wonders of nature in winter as a starting point. Both the beautiful floral photographs of early 20th century photographer Karl Blossfeldt and the frosty flowers in her very own winter garden were used to inspire a collection of decorations that bring a contemporary twist to the Yuletide season. The small bowl is beautifully made from stainless steel which is then plated in 18 karat gold in Georg Jensen’s own workshop in Denmark. It is suitable for holding edible Christmas treats.
