Georg Jensen Leaping Dolphins Heart Brooch 312 Sterling Silver MidCentury

This authentic and quite rare brooch by Georg Jensen is beautiful. Georg Jensen, famous for his jewellery designs, began work as a ceramic modeller for the porcelain factory Bing and Grondahl. He then went on to become one of Denmark’s most famous Jewellers and won medals at a great many exhibitions. This brooch was designed by Arno Malinowski, some refer to this design as being part of the Hawaii collection. Malinowski was one of Jensens best known designers and dates to the period 1933-44. Thus we can safely describe his work as stylistically Art Deco. Size 3.5cm high, 4cm wide. Condition: excellent.
