fingerblingers @jmurquidi7 with proper care it will not tarnish. Fingers turning green are caused by your bodies chemistry reacting with copper. If you have history of rings that are copper based turning your finger green then there is a chance, yes. the base metal under the plating is copper.

fingerblingers @jmurquidi7 most folks who have a reaction to copper that want to wear such rings will usually coat the inside of the ring with clear nail polish. This isolates your skin from the surface and will negate the reaction. hope this helps!
