rockcandy4u It’s coated so that it does not get damaged by knocking against anything. It’s like Mica. Very soft and can splinter. That’s why it’s so rare to have set in a piece. The ones I had that I took to a show all sold for retail price that same day. I was keeping this one for me and decided to let it go.
