The yellowing of the ivory, mainly near the end of the cuts for the gold laid ribboning is natural patina. 14 karat yellow gold hallmarks inlaid on back of the earrings and also on the butterfly backings. 14 karat gold is 58.333% pure. Gorgeous & just in time for summer! Back of earrings have a gold inlaid plate with the Hallmark. Each Butterfly backing is Hallmarked; the last photo of the butterfly backings shows the Hallmarks on the left sides of each backing; super hard to photograph, but easily visible with magnifying glass in person.
