General Electric Vintage 1967 AM FM Portable Transistor Radio Model 7-2506 A Vintage General Electric 7-2506A transistor radio, manufactured in October 1967 (Date Code 6742). This compact portable radio was made in Hong Kong and originally ran on a 9V NEDA 1604 battery. The original interior label is still intact, including service information. The telescoping antenna is fully intact, straight, and extends and retracts smoothly. Video demos working condition. Battery, not included. Condition: Works! In good to fair condition with signs of age and use: The original string carrying strap is broken but included and attached. Minor blemishes and scuffing are present on the plastic casing. The radio dial face and GE logo panel have light wear and cosmetic marks. Interior battery compartment includes the original foam padding, though aged.
