No holes or flaws just a small amount of pilling as is usual with 100% pure cashmere sweaters. I have worn and washed this sweater a couple of times per the instructions and cold water and lay flat to dry. It seems to get softer after each wash.. beautiful marled color with hints of salmon, orange and strawberry
